Specialties For the last 9 years, my clincial psychotherapy work has focused on new mothers and parents. I received advanced certification in PERINATAL MOOD DISORDERS As a trained clinical psychologist and licensed Professional Counselor who treats postpartum depression, I am able to discern iif and when a new mom needs professional attention face-to-face (as opposed to long-distance). And I will make the necessary referral. I will also consult with the family or health provider, in order to ensure the mother is given the best help available to her (given geographical and other limitations that may be in place). CurrentlyI live in Saugatuck-Douglas, Michigan, USA with my husband and three children. I am step-mother to three grown women and step-grandmother to 4 little ones. I co-direct the Douglas Psychotherapy Center where I maintain a private in-office practice.
