Kim Richardson offers individualized, confidential one-on-one coaching and counseling sessions. She will focus on the immediate short-term goal of relieving troubling thoughts and feelings, and improving your current situation.In short-term work, you will focus on what is happening here now, and how you can feel like yourself again as quickly as possible. She is compassionate, kind and respectful of the situation you are facing.

Kim Richardson uses a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet a your needs. Focused crisis counseling is very effective in bringing you the relief you need to begin to think calmly and clearly, make good choices and begin to feel in control of your life again. She is highly experienced in psychodynamic and relational therapies, and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

 Over the years clients have commented on her calmness, acceptance and ability to provide a safe listening space within which to be vulnerable, honest and courageous.
